Overview

The SEO Specialist plays a pivotal role in enhancing the online presence of the organization by driving organic traffic, improving search engine rankings, and maximizing lead generation opportunities. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously refining comprehensive SEO strategies aimed at increasing visibility and engagement across various digital platforms. Key responsibilities include conducting in-depth keyword research, optimizing both in-house and agency-developed content for search performance, managing and maintaining business profiles on key platforms, and performing detailed analysis of SEO performance metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement. The SEO Specialist will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated across all digital touchpoints, ensuring optimal user experience, high-quality content, and measurable business outcomes.

 Leads/Gets Results

  • Develop and execute media strategies that deliver measurable results, including increases across all key metrics including, but not limited to, brand consideration and familiarity, lead volume and conversion.
  • Analyze campaign performance to adjust ensuring channel performance meets or exceeds performance goals.
  • Take initiative and bring insights (category, competitive, consumer) and solutions to company leadership.
  • Conduct regular audits of performance media channels ensure alignment across strategic and operational objectives.
  • Inspire and guide team members to optimize current programs and elevate overall performance.
  • Drive alignment and collaboration across teams, ensuring all partners are working towards shared goals.
  •  Align channel strategy with ARS’s seasonal business needs, ensuring both individual branches and brands meet business objectives.

    SEO Strategy & Research:

    • Develop, implement, and refine SEO strategies for organic search visibility and lead generation
    • Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify content and optimization opportunities

    On-Page & Technical SEO:

    • Optimize website content, metadata, and site structure for SEO best practices
    • Identify and troubleshoot technical SEO issues, collaborating with web developers to implement solutions

    Local SEO Management:

    • Manage and optimize local SEO efforts, including Google Business Profiles and location-based strategies

    Performance Monitoring & Analysis:

    • Monitor and analyze SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, and others
    • Provide regular performance reports, insights, and recommendations to marketing leadership

    Team Collaboration & Industry Awareness:

    • Stay up to date with industry trends, search engine algorithm updates, and emerging SEO technologies

    • Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in a multi-location, service-oriented business.
  • Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO best practices.
  • Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with local SEO and managing Google Business Profiles.
  • Solid understanding of HTML, website CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress), and website performance optimization.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with a detail-oriented mindset.
